Love Your Neighbor

Resurgence City likes to think of February as our “Love your neighbor” month. During this time, we encourage the people who call our community home to tangibly love the people around them. These acts of love can be anything as simple as shoveling a drive or buy groceries. We humbly pray that this campaign would impact people all over our city. So if you are here as a result of one of our cards we just wanted to say that we love you! Not for anything you have done or have not done but simply because you exist in this world. Our campaign comes from one of Jesus teachings in the New Testament and it states, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.” Mark 12:30-31
